Directories

Enterprise

While conducting a study, you are in contact with a variety of people and organizations, both internal and external to your organization. In Enterprise, you can build and manage directories to manage your contacts. Directories are more than your average address book. These dynamic directories enable you to document contact information and relationships between stakeholders. This user guide explains how to add and manage directories of people, organizations, Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), and committees.

Types of directories

Enterprise contains several types of directories:

  • People: The individuals in your own network, such as investigators, site coordinators, and your own team members.

  • Organizations: The sites, institutions, and companies with whom you do business.

  • IRBs: Institutional Review Boards that formally review and monitor your studies.

  • Committees: Groups of individuals from the People directory.

Search and filter directories

Keeping your directories robust and up to date will make Enterprise more powerful for your needs. You can search and filter at multiple levels to find exactly what you need. Directories enable you to:

  • Search the People Directory for an investigator and see what studies they’re working on.

  • Within the Organization Directory, see which capabilities or equipment a site offers.

  • Contact or share documents with all committee members at once.

  • Filter by Study, Organization, Role, Therapeutic Areas, or Active Status to quickly identify the correct people or organizations to contact.

For example, to find investigators specializing in cardiology, filter the People directory by Role and Therapeutic Area to find possible matches as shown below.
