Use the Participant Timeline

In a participant record, the Timeline shows information about the participant’s status, consents, eligibility, and enrollment, arranged by dates. This makes it easy to view and edit participant progress throughout the study.
As the participant progresses through the study, the markers on the timeline change from gray to green with a white checkmark to show the participant’s current place in the study. To enter or edit information on the timeline, click the pencil icon.

Prescreening: View and update the Date Entered Prescreening and Prescreening ID, if applicable.
In Screening: View and update the Date Entered Screening and Screening ID.
Consent: Shows whether the participant consented (
) refused (
) or waived (
) the consent. Click the pencil icon to view and update consent information including Consent version, Consented/Refused/Waived, Consent Date, and Notes. To select and upload a consent document, at the right of the consent name, click Upload Consent Document. To view or download the consent document, click Consent Documents. To add a new consent to the timeline, at the top right, click Add Consent.
Eligible: View and update the eligibility information including Eligible/Ineligible, Eligibility Date, and Notes. To view inclusion and exclusion criteria for the study, click View Eligibility Criteria.
Enrolled: View and update the enrollment information including Enrolled/Declined, Enrollment Date, Subject ID, Enrolling Research Coordinator, Enrolling Investigator, and Notes.
